I am starting today – my new 40 day Meditation to bring me a clear mind and a new vision in life. I am so excited and will let you know on the way how it goes.
In Kundalini Yoga we practice meditations for 40 days straight in a row (sometimes even 120 days or longer), one of the reasons is that it takes 40 days for the brain and the nervous system to adjust. It is like a reprogramming of the mind and brain. We delete certain information and replace it with new (positive) patterns.
So if you ever happen to miss 1 day, you start new from Day 1, this makes it extremely easy to learn yogic discipline.
This meditation is using a beautiful mantra and a mudra. This meditation can help you to see through your clear mind and to look beyond this world to realize the Infinite.
The full description (source: 3HO)is here:
Posture: Sit in easy pose or in a chair with a straight spine with a light neck lock (Jalandhar Bandh)

Sat Narayan Wahe Guru Hari Narayan Sat Nam
Meaning of the Mantra:
True Sustainer, Indescribable Wisdom, Creative Sustenance, True Identity
Chant in a monotone or along with a song. Oh best news – I put my 3 top mantras on a spotify playlist “40 Day Meditation”.
The upper arms are touching the sides of the chest, with the elbows bent, palms facing forward. The hands are at the height of the nose, with the hands in Gyan Mudra (tip of the first finger of each hand touches the tip of the thumb with the remaining fingers solid with each other and pointing up)
Time: 11 Minutes
If you want to join me, it could be important to put a reminder in your phone or anywhere you will surely see it on a daily basis, and I know it can be challenging when you are traveling or have other things going on in your life not to miss out a day. But trust me, it is worth it.
To majesty – already in love with the word – or in yogi bhajans words: “Keep up and you will be kept up!”
You are loved and you are worthy, Nicole
